Join us for an evening of celebration and inspiration at the 2025 Seattle AWIS Banquet:

Seattle AWIS has been celebrating the achievements of women in the Pacific Northwest since 2013 with our annual banquet and awards. The annual banquet is an inspirational evening supporting and celebrating the achievements of all women in science.
At the banquet, you will hear from the 2025 Award winners, meet the AWIS undergraduate scholarship recipients and enjoy the company of other supporters of women in STEM.
Seattle AWIS is honored to recognize three outstanding women who have advanced their fields of scientific research, education, and outreach. They are leaders and innovators whose work has made an impact. They are mentors and inspiring role models for students and other professionals.
The 2025 Seattle AWIS Award recipients are:
Sarah L. Keller, PhD Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Washington
for Science/Technology Advancement & Leadership
Alison Feder, PhD Assist Prof, Dept of Genome Sciences, University of Washington
Affiliate Investigator, Herbold Computational Biology Program, Fred Hutch Cancer Center
for Early Career Achievement in STEM
Agnieszka Miguel, PhD Professor and Department Chair, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Seattle University
for Excellence in Science Education/Outreach.
While we're celebrating women in science, we invite the general public, including AWIS members and non-members, people of all gender identities, as well as students and professionals.

There is limited free parking at the venue in the lots off 41st Street and there is street parking in the area. Please consider carpooling, taxi/Uber or using buses that run on NE 45th St. More walking, driving or bus recommendations can be found here.

AWIS Non-members: $40.00
You will have the option to pay by check or credit card via Brown Paper Tickets. Payments by credit card will add a service fee.
Each ticket includes buffet dinner, wine and other beverages - and an inspiring program!
Once the seating maximum is reached, a wait list will be started.

SCHOLARSHIP DONATIONS
We encourage you to donate generously to the AWIS Scholarship Fund. Undergraduate women studying science, technology, engineering or math at a Washington college or university are selected based on outstanding letters of recommendation, financial need, community service and a strong interest in pursuing a career in STEM.
