This multi-prize-winning love story follows the lives of John and Mary as they grow up and grow old together from the ages of 11 to 72. Their romance starts with their first kiss following the passing of John's hamster and continues through all of their shared joys and losses - including bad dresses, old girlfriends, and even condoms in their daughter's sock drawer!
