"Black Girl, Black Pearl" by Farah Lawal Harris
A poetic, heart-wrenching, empowering drama that draws on ancient dramatic traditions. After Danah is sexually assaulted on her 25th birthday, she engages in a pattern of public nudity in order to find freedom and healing. Meanwhile, a greek chorus of "Round-the-Way-Girls" serves as narrators and revolving supporting characters who lead us through Danah's journey to empowerment.

"Gloria and Rwanda" by Sybil R. Williams
An original play that centers on two women struggling through memory, tragedy, and loss. Through an invitation, the audience is taken on a journey to see the two women connect their past in order to understand their present and is left to wonder if Gloria and Rwanda will be able to bridge the gap and use art, storytelling, and understanding to heal themselves and move forward.
