Fenyes Mansion Docent Led Tour

Thanks to an extraordinary family legacy, the Fenyes Mansion on Pasadena's famed Millionaires Row, once home to Dr. Adalbert and Eva Fenyes, holds a special place among Pasadena Museum of Historys many treasures.

Original period furnishings, family heirlooms, and a unique California plein air art collection enhance this 1906 Beaux Arts-style architectural jewel. The lovely residence, designed by Robert Farquhar with a later addition by Sylvanus Marston, retains the collection of the Fenyes-Curtin-Paloheimo family and is decorated as it was lived in a century ago.

Docent-led walking tours of the Fenyes Mansion are offered on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, last approximately 75 minutes, and cover:
~The history of the Fenyes-Curtin-Paloheimo family
~Their collection of art and furnishings
~A glimpse into the life of a family living 100 years ago on Pasadenas Millionaires Row.

Visitors may view the Finnish Folk Art Museum as part of the Fenyes Mansion tour. Your ticket also includes admission to our History Center galleries.

Advanced purchase is not required but highly recommended as space is limited per tour.

We welcome children on our tours. However, please keep in mind that the tour is over an hour long and strollers are not allowed in the Mansion. Please note that children younger than age 8 may not fully appreciate the content. Children 12 years old and under can come for free but must be accompanied by an adult.

As a historic building, the Fenyes Mansion is not fully wheelchair accessible. Please let us know ahead of time if anyone in your group uses a walker or wheelchair so that we may be prepared to assist these guests. Our tours do require a great deal of walking, standing and going up a small number of steps.
